Report: Honka to make season debut tonight!

The Dallas Stars will be able to count on young defenseman Julius Honka, as his team will face the Detroit Red Wings. 

In 16 games last season, Honka recorded a goal and five points, while he impressed management. The Stars also called up left winger Remi Elie from the Texas Stars, Dallas' top development affiliate in the American Hockey League (AHL). In 2016-17, he appeared in 18 games for Dallas recording seven points.

Netminder Ben Bishop, who suffered from a concussion during the first game of the season, will get the start in net tonight.
