We might not see Jaromir Jagr in a Calgary Flames jersey for another few days...
The Canadian team is currently trying to sort out issues with immigration and Jagr is not expected to arrive in Calgary until Wednesday, with an official announcement on the deal potentially being delayed, according the The Athletic's Pierre LeBrun.
It was reported on Monday that the 45-year-old veteran has signed a one-year deal with the Flames that will pay him $1 million in base salary with another potential $1 million in bonuses.
If Jagr's arrival is delayed until Wednesday, depending on when the immigration issues are resolved, there is a good chance he will miss the Flames' opening game against the Edmonton Oilers that night.
