We now have a clearer picture of the situation surrounding college free agent Jimmy Vesey.
A report from ESPN's Joe McDonald has revealed that Vesey has met with a total of seven teams and furthermore, Vesey will be mulling over which of those seven teams he will be choosing to join. According to McDonald those seven teams are the New York Rangers. the New Jersey Devils. The New York Islanders, the Boston Bruins, the Chicago Blackhawks, the Pittsburgh Penguins and the Toronto Maple Leafs.
It's worth noting here that earlier this week a rumor surfaced suggesting that the Boston Bruins were either no longer in the running at all, or at best a "longshot" to land Vesey, so this list could realistically be down to just six of the seven teams mentioned above.
More to come.
