Report: Key player absent from practice today

The Philadelphia Flyers were without one of their most important players this morning at practice.

Fans didn't express too much concern - although one had a funny reaction.

The Canadiens have been linked to Claude Giroux in the past, but his absence has nothing to do with any sort of trade, so let's put that one to rest, please.

As of now, we don't know if this is good or bad news - ultimately it's Giroux's private life and so there's no reason for him to explain his absence, but should any additional news come out, we'll keep you updated.

The Flyers don't return to game action until Saturday.
