This guy just can't quit the game he loves
According to a report from Los Angeles Kings insider John Hoven, the team looking to sign veteran forward Corey Perry to a contract extension.
The 40 year old Perry has 11 goals and 28 points in 49 games for the Kings this year and has filled a depth role with the team well. Sure, he can't get around the ice like he used to, but around the net in the offensive zone he's still one of the most frustrating forecheckers in the NHL. His knach for getting into the tough areas and then living there is truly remarkable.
Stay tuned for official confirmation of a contract extension.
