Report: Knights cut five in advance of FIRST EVER home game

The day has finally arrived! The Vegas Golden Knights will take to the ice at T-Mobile Arena on the world famous Las Vegas Strip tonight as they take on the Los Angeles Kings in preseason action.

But, before they do GM George McPhee took care of some housekeeping late last night by sending five players to the team’s AHL affiliate the Chicago Wolves. Headed to Chicago are:

Jake Bischoff
Oscar Dansk
Keegan Kolesar
Maxime Lagace
Tyler Wong

None of these players are really a surprise, with the exception maybe of Wong who tore up the early preseason schedule. In the end though, none of the five players mentioned above were realistically expected to stick with the team past training camp. They’ll be given bigger opportunities to prove themselves in the AHL.
