Report: Leafs could lose talented defenseman to KHL offer.

The Maple Leafs don't just have to worry about competing offers in the National Hockey League, they have to be concerned about hostile offers from the Kontinental Hockey League as well.

According to a recent report in the Toronto Sun from reporter Lance Hornby, defenseman T.J. Brennan has received an offer from a KHL club.

Brennan has been a dominant force in the American Hockey League, was in fact named defenseman of the year, but has struggled to translate his skills to the NHL level albeit with limited opportunities to do so.

It's unclear at this time if Brennan will accept the offer or not, but losing a defenseman that produces nearly a point per game at the AHL level for nothing would not be ideal for Toronto.
