Report: Leafs fans pay INSANE prices for preseason game against Sens

In case you missed it last night, the Toronto Maple Leafs and Ottawa Senators officially dropped the puck on their preseason schedules with a tilt on The Rock at St. John’s, Newfoundland.

The Leafs dropped a 3-1 decision to the Sens but, to make matters even worse for Leafs fans in attendance the ticket prices for the game were reportedly INSANE. Leafs insider Steve Simmons of the Toronto Sun reports that tickets for the preseason opener were going for as much as $600 on ticket reselling websites like StubHub.

Check it out:

Um… excuse me?! $600 for a preseason game?! I know that St. John’s hockey fans are starving for some good professional hockey but… that’s just insanity.

In any case, as Simmons reports tickets for tonight’s games are sold out. Crazy Newfies…
