Report: Leafs officially out on top trade target

GM Brad Treliving folds.

According to a report from TSN insider Darren Dreger, the Philadelphia Flyers are expected to move defenseman Sean Walker sometime between now and Friday's NHL trade deadline.

Dreger also reports that the Toronto Maple Leafs are NOT involved in trade discussions for Walker.

Check it out:

The Leafs had been rumored to be after Walker for weeks now, but after their acquisition of Ilya Lyubushkin from the Anaheim Ducks it looks like GM Brad Treliving is not longer in pursuit of Walker.

For our earlier report on Leafs forward Mitch Marner from last night's game against the Bruins, read down below.

There have been no shortage of examples of embellishment lately in the National Hockey League, with Ottawa Senators forward Tim Stützle seemingly having taken the crown of the League's best diving forward of late.

Marner was seen attempting to draw a call from the officials when he feigned injury when the stick of Boston's Brandon Carlo came up near his face, but didn't appear to actually draw contact. Marner immediately fell to his knees as if he'd been clipped:

And needless to say, the fans weren't exactly appreciative of his antics.

Just how would you rate that flop from Marner tonight compared to some of the others that you've seen recently?
