Report: Leafs veteran slams NHL for preseason schedule
What’s your take? Is he out of line here?

It doesn’t look like Toronto Maple Leafs forward Nazem Kadri is a fan of the NHL preseason. When asked by The Athletic’s James Mirtle for his opinion on the preseason schedule, Kadri didn’t hold back in his assessment.
Check it out:
NHLers have moaned and groaned about the preseason schedule for years, but with only eight games on the Leafs’ schedule, does Kadri really have a right to complain? Also, how many of those games will he play anyways? Chances are Leafs head coach Mike Babcock will use his eight games to get a better look at some of the team’s younger talent and players from their AHL affiliate the Toronto Marlies.
In any case, what’s your take? Is the NHL preseason too long? Can we just drop the puck on the regular season already?
