The Oilers' superstar left last night's game with an apparent injury.
In case you missed it last night, the Vancouver Canucks made an exhilarating, improbable comeback against the Edmonton Oilers in Game 1 of their 2nd round playoff matchup.
The Canucks were down 4-1 and managed to storm back with four unanswered goals to win the game 5-4. The atmosphere in Vancouver's Rogers Arena was absolutely electric when forward Conor Garland put the team up 5-4 with just six minutes to play.

Incidentally, the Oilers' downfall sort of began after superstar Leon Draisaitl left the team's bench with an apparent injury in the 2nd period. He did return to play a bit in the 3rd period, but head coach Kris Knoblauch limited Draisaitl's playing time significantly.
Today, Draisaitl was absent from the team's off-day practice where Knoblauch confirmed that Draisaitl is out of the lineup 'day to day'.

If Draisaitl can't suit up for Game 2, it doesn't bode well for the Oilers' chances in this series. Stay tuned.
