From one legend to another. When the Pittsburgh Penguins won the Stanley Cup early this week, team captain Sidney Crosby received an interesting text message.

The GOAT, Peyton Manning, texted Crosby to congratulate him. 

Manning played college football in Tennessee, the same state where Crosby lifted the Stanley Cup on Sunday. Manning graduated from the University of Tennessee right as the NHL’s Nashville franchise was being born. Manning is originally from New Orleans where there is no NHL team.
