Report: Major imminent changes coming to the Rangers!
Keystone Press

The New York Rangers have started to win a few consecutive games, but no one knows how long it will last… However, NHL insider Darren Dreger predicts that changes will be coming to the Rangers as he explained this morning on Montreal’s TSN 690

There’s no question about that,” Dreger said, as stated by Fanrag Sports. “The question is how significant are the changes. You know that Alain Vigneault is doing everything within his power to exercise some change and we saw that against the Vegas Golden Knights.

There’s been much speculation about his future. Now, there’s nothing imminent in terms of a firing, but anything is possible. Losing forces decisions. But when you look at the possibility of a coaching change, especially with a coach like Alain Vigneault with the experience that he brings to the New York Rangers, you have to see the signs."

The Rangers have been involved in several trade rumours with management personnel attending different games across the league, more especially ones with the Montreal Canadiens or Ottawa Senators in action.

There is a possibility of a trade, but trying to do anything that matters at this stage of the regular season very, very difficult. I can tell you Kathryn, eyebrows raised in Ottawa on Monday. Glen Sather, Jim Schoenfeld, Gilles Leger, and Doug Risebrough of the New York Rangers all in attendance to watch the Sens and the Montreal Canadiens.

I don’t get the sense that there’s anything big happening there, but you know where there’s smoke there’s got to be some fire.”
