The National Hockey League has allowed Danis Zaripov, a former Kontinental Hockey League player, to play next season and some players already want him on their line.

Zaripov was recently banned from play by the World Anti Doping Agency. The ban was a two-year ban due to the fact that Zaripov tested both for a stimulant, presumably some form of performance enhancing drug, as well as a masking agent, the kind of substance often ingested when trying to hid the use of performance enhancing drugs.

According to Igor Eronko, Pittsburgh Penguins superstar Evgeni Malkin would like to see Zaripov in a Pens' uniform. The Russian forward added he would enjoy playing alongside Zaripov.

What do you think about that Penguins fans? Should Pittsburgh get in touch with Zaripov for the upcoming season?
