Weren't they supposed to be terrible?
The Maple Leafs were supposed to be complete trash this year, and frankly they aren't living up to those expectations.
In fact one Maple Leaf has set a franchise record, putting on the best performance over a ten game stretch that any Maple Leaf at his position has ever had. It's not only surprising that this Maple Leafs would produce such a performance, but furthermore it has come from the often criticized James Reimer.
Reimer has posted a very impressive .953 save percentage over the last ten games, better than any Maple Leaf before him including legendary names like Ed Belfour(.952) and Curtis Joseph(.952).
If you'd like to see a complete list of the goalies Reimer has surpassed with his recent performance you can see a detailed graph put together by David Alter.
