The Maple Leafs wasted little time making good on their big Monday trade.

According to a report from ESPN's Pierre Lebrun the Leafs immediately signed goaltender Frederik Andersen after acquiring him in a trade with the Anaheim Ducks. 

While the financial details of the deal have not yet been disclosed, a report from TSN insider Bob McKenzie suggest that it will be in the low $5 million range, that is to say $5.5 million or less per season. in terms of average annual value.
