It's moments like this that make them the laughing stock of the NHL.
If you're a Toronto Maple Leafs fan you know you're in for a rough ride this season, and that was made crystal clear in Toronto's season opener against the Montreal Canadiens.
The Maple Leafs, in true Maple Leafs fashion allowed the first goal on the NHL season, on Montreal's first shot of the NHL season, and the goal of course was allowed by Jonathan Bernier on the first shot he faced this season.
Now just in case you think this could happen to anyone, this wasn't some highlight reel goal, at least not unless it's for all the wrong reasons, it was a softie, and one that probably should have never limped across the goal line.
