It's beginning to look more and more as though the Toronto Maple Leafs will be parting ways with goaltender Matt Murray, who was often injured during his first year with the team after being acquired from the Ottawa Senators.
The prevailing thought right now is that new Maple Leafs general manager Brad Treliving could look to buy out the final year of Murray's contract, which carries a cap hit of $6.25 million. But now, it looks as though a new development has emerged.
