They will be without their best player for some time.
The Montreal Canadiens have confirmed the fears of their fan base, the team will be without superstar Carey Price for an extended length of time.
While the Habs announced that Price would avoid surgery, which has to be viewed as good news, he will still miss a minimum of six more weeks forcing Montreal to act quickly and make some changes to their goaltending.
Montreal showed that they have absolutely no faith in Dustin Tokarski, sending him back down to the AHL andcalling up the struggling Zach Fucale. In Price's absence Mike Condon will take the majority of the starts, something he is capable of doing if his performance thus far is any indication.
