Toronto Maple Leafs defenseman Morgan Rielly is playing probably the best hockey of his career this season! The 23-year old defenseman, drafted fifth overall by the Leafs in 2012, has already registered 18 points in 28 games played so far. At this pace, he could finish the season with a total of 52 points, which would be his best offensive production since he started playing in the NHL. His best season so far was his 36 points registered 2015-2016.
In 340 games played in the NHL, the Vancouver, British-Columbia native registered 137 points. Last year, he had 27 points in 76 games, and added five points in six playoff games against the Washington Capitals.
What do you think, Leafs fans? Is this season will be Rielly's best?
