The Rangers certainly made a splash a the trade deadline by acquiring former-Arizona Coyotes defenseman Keith Yandle.
"I think in this series I've felt probably at my best and most comfortable, and I kind of feel like it's coming together," Yandle told reporters Saturday. "It's just, you know, the way guys play and finding your role. It was something that you knew was going to take some time, and I feel good right now."
Yandle seems to be hitting his stride on Broadway, and has put up five points in the team's last two games. He received a glowing endorsement from head coach Alain Vigneault.
"It's the best I've seen him play so far with the puck: How to beat the forecheck, when to jump up in the attack,'' Vigneault said. "It takes players a little adjustment time."
Yandle had two goals and 11 points in 21 games with the Rangers during the regular season, but has nearly matched that in the playoffs recording a goal and nine points in 16 games.
