Wow... the biggest thing I take out of this is that Dmitry Yuschkevich was once an NHL All-Star but I digress...
In all seriousness, I think Toronto would make an absolutely fantastic host for the All-Star Game. After all, it's truly the center of the hockey world despite all the snark that it gets from fans across the league. The Hockey Hall of Fame is in Toronto and the city has been in the background of some of the NHL's most historic moments. Again, I get all the hate that the city of Toronto gets from fans (especially Canadian fans), but if you've ever been there you'll agree that hockey is King in T.O.
An All-Star Game in Toronto would be one of the largest such events in recent history and I have no doubt that the Leafs will go the extra mile to make it a truly memorable event. Now... will they have gators and dunk tanks like we're expecting at the NHL All-Star Game in Florida next month? Probably not, but I could go for some good, old fashioned traditional hockey anyways. I think the Leafs and the city of Toronto will do an excellent, classy send up for the annual event. Stay tuned for official confirmation from the league and the team.
