According to multiple reports the Arizona Coyotes have officially been sold to Andrew Barroway. Barroway made a deal to buy 51% off the team back in October, but numerous reports surfaced suggesting that the deal was on the verge of falling apart. However the NHL Board of Governors voted on the sale today and the reportedly $152.5 million dollar sale was approved. Barroway is not the majority owner of the franchise and will be introduced at a press conference to be held this Friday.Fans of the franchise are likely excited to have a new owner who hopefully will be willing to invest more heavily in the franchise. John Shannon made the announcement via twitter this morning and the Coyotes have since confirmed the move.
