Report: NHL forward responds to potential ads on jerseys.

One NHL forward has said what a lot of fans are thinking.

In response to the NHL's latest jersey scandal, one that many pundits believe will lead to advertisements on team jerseys, Winnipeg Jets winger Blake Wheeler shared his thoughts and he didn't hold back.

"An NHL uniform is a sacred thing and it's an honor to wear one. Putting corporate sponsors on the front would tarnish that. Don't do it," said Wheeler via Twitter.\

Wheeler has likely won over a ton of fans, who share his feelings on the topic, with those comments all while applying even more public pressure on the NHL to keep advertisements away from the team colors.
