The Detroit Red Wings named Jeff Blashill the club’s 27th head coach in franchise history on Tuesday morning. Along with the announcement, Blashill  told reporters during his introductory press conference that he intends on filling out his coaching staff within the next week. TSN's Aaron Ward indicated that Blashill could start looking to a former NHL Legend to fill one of his assistant coaching positions. That Legend is Chris Chelios. Chelios played for the Montreal Canadiens, Chicago Blackhawks, Detroit Red Wings, and Atlanta Thrashers during his time in the league.  He is currently the Executive Advisor to Ken Holland, the general manager of the Detroit Red Wings, a role thatSteve Yzerman held before leaving to become general manager of the Tampa Bay Lightning. As a player, Chelios was a member of three Stanley Cup championship teams including the Red Wings in 2002 and 2008. He won the Norris trophy 3 times for best defenseman and scored 948 points and 2891 PIM's in an incredible 1651 NHL games. He was inducted into the Hockey Hall of Fame on November 8, 2013. He is considered one of the NHL's all-time "Iron Men". Would he be a good addition to a franchise with such a great history of success?
