Report: Nielsen's status questionable for tonight

The Detroit Red Wings (6-6-1) are looking to keep to their winning ways and pull off a third straight victory tonight against the Ottawa Senators.

They may have to do it without one of their veteran forwards.

Frans Nielsen, 33, missed the morning skate today - and although his injury is undisclosed, head coach Jeff Blashill stated that he doesn't think it's going to be anything long-term.

He'll be a game-time decision - one would imagine that we'll hear about what kind of injury he's dealing with around game time, or after.
