According to Toronto Maple Leafs head coach Sheldon Keefe, the team will be without star forward William Nylander for at least another week as he remains on the NHL's COVID-19 protocol list.
Check it out:
The 24 year old forward came into close contact with a known COVID-19 case, but it hasn't been confirmed yet whether Nylander has tested positive himself. In any case, it appears the team and the league are taking a cautious approach to Nylander's situation. Which, frankly, is the smart thing to do. We all saw what happened to the Vancouver Canucks after practicing with a known positive COVID-19 case on their roster. This virus doesn't take long to run through a dressing room and decimate an entire roster. Kudos to the Leafs and the NHL for taking all precautions here.
