Report: Parise may need back surgery

He could miss significant time (again!)

As Michael Russo reported it on Twitter, Minnesota Wild forward Zach Parise will probably need to have a back surgery that would keep him out of the action for at least three months.

Parise was diagnosed with a herniated disk two seasons ago, and missed the entire playoffs that year because he was lacking strenght in one of his legs. Last season, he played 69 games, and the games he missed were not because of his back.

He didn't play yet this season, with what's been reported as persistent pain in one of his legs, symptoms he experienced two seasons ago. Parise, as you can imagine, is very frustrated about the situation.

The surgery could happen as fast as Tuesday.

What do you think, Wild fans? Are you frustrated as well?
