To many watching the Buffalo Sabres this season, it looked like the team was trying to lose. Now, via their one-time starting goalie, comes word that might have been true. Former Sabres goaltender Jhonas Enroth opened up to Swedish website hockeysverige.se, spilling the beans about the team's mindset this season. “They had only one goal … the goal was to come last,” Enroth said (via Google Translate).  "I was not too happy with (the trade) when it happened, but when I look back on it now, I'm very happy that I was traded." Enroth was sent to the Dallas Stars before the trade deadline in exchange for goaltender Anders Lindback and a conditional third-round pick in 2016. Some suggested the move came after Enroth's solid play was winning the Sabres too many games. The 26-year-old won two of his final four games with the Sabres while posting a .936 save percentage in those games. Ultimately, Buffalo finished last in the standings, but lost the draft lottery to the Edmonton Oilers. The Sabres will have the second overall pick, likely to be Jack Eichel out of Boston University. Karma hurts sometimes.
