The Anaheim Ducks have been struck with the injury bug at a very inopportune time. They lost two of their most productive players in a loss to Washington on Sunday, and the injury updates that have since been released are not good. The team released the official update today via twitter, and both Matt Belesky and Sami Vatanen will be out at least until after the trade deadline. Belesky, who has scored more goals then anyone on the team aside from superstar Corey Perry, will miss two to four weeks with an "upper-body" injury. The news for Vatanen is even worse, he is expected to be out four to six weeks with a "lower-body" injury, Vatenen is by far the teams most productive defenseman from an offensive stand point. A huge blow to the Ducks, one that will likely have a direct impact on how they view the upcoming March 2nd trade deadline.
