Report: Possible devastating news for the Sens

Defenseman Thomas Chabot, Ottawa Senators top prospect , might be sidelined for some time. The 20-year old defenseman missed the Belleville Senators game, Ottawa AHL affiliate team, on Friday night, with what has been reported as a lower-body injury. 

There is no timeline yer for the injury, but a long-term absence could be a huge challenge for his development. Chabot was drafted 18th overall by the Senators in 2015. Many believed he would make the opening night roster in Ottawa, but he was sent back in the AHL to start the season. Eventually, the Senators called him up, and he played three games in the big league, registering two points, but he was demoted again. In five games with Belleville, he registered three points.

Let's hope he'll be back in action sooner then later!
