New York Rangers fourth line pivot Boo Nieves has been an integral part of the team having a consistent bottom line, but after succumbing to injury Friday night and being forced out of the game early, there was concern over that newfound consistency being lost.

There was some confusion this morning after the Rangers' official Twitter account tweeted out about his status during practice.

Was he out for practice in the sense that he was a participant? Or was he 'out' in the sense that he wasn't there due to his injury?

Greg Joyce cleared the air on that one.

It appears that it was a minor setback that was helped by a good night's sleep. His status isn't confirmed for Sunday's tilt against the Vancouver Canucks, but by all appearances he should be good to go.

*UPDATE* Against the popular theory this morning, Nieves will indeed not play tomorrow, and David Desharnais will replace him in the lineup.
