The New York Rangers may be heading towards a rebuild, or at the very least a partial one.

According to a report from Rangers insider Larry Brooks the team will be making a huge number of their players available for trade over the summer, so much so that he believes only three players are currently viewed as untouchables.

From Brooks' report:

Of course Rick Nash is available — as is everyone in the organization other than Henrik Lundqvist, Brady Skjei and Pavel Buchnevich. The Rangers, we’re told, are prepared to listen to offers for everyone.

The names listed by Brooks when it comes to players is a rather surprising one, with several players who are currently core pieces of the Rangers line up seemingly on the block for the right price. Again from Brooks:

That includes Ryan McDonagh, Derek Stepan, Derick Brassard, Chris Kreider and Kevin Hayes, each player’s availability, of course, will be dependent upon the exchange rate in return. But nothing is off the table.

It appears the Rangers are headed for an extremely busy offseason, and Brooks' warns "You might not recognize anyone on the Rangers next season."
