Report: Rookie defenseman called up as Canucks struggle to find their game.

The Vancouver Canucks have struggled out of the gate, and despite the fact that they won some early games, they weren't the kind of wins you expect from a team that is seriously in contention for a playoff run.

That's why when the team made the decision to send rookie defenseman Troy Stecher back down to the Utica Comets many wondered why the Canucks wouldn't keep the young defenseman who has shown some promise at the National Hockey League level. 

Well wonder no longer, because the Canucks have seemingly realized that they could use all the help they can get, and as a result have called Stecher back up to their NHL roster. 

The team confirmed the report through their official social media.
