Report: Roster Cuts Put Pressure On Veteran Goaltender

The Detroit Red Wings have announced that they’ve proceeded to make a few more cuts to their roster.

 

Goaltender Edward Pasquale (who cleared waivers today) and Zach Nastasiuk will both report to the Grand Rapids Griffins.

 

Moreover, they recalled goalie Cal Heeter and hope to insert him into the lineup within the last three preseason games.

 

Perhaps this puts a little pressure on Jimmy Howard, who was less-than-stellar in his exhibition outings…
