Report: Stars' defenseman out after re-aggravating injury.
Keystone Press

He was rumored to be one of the potential targets at the trade deadline but this injury may now have badly damaged the value of Dallas Stars defenseman Johnny Oduya.

On Friday Mark Stepneski of the Stars official website reported that Oduya has re-aggravated the injury to his ankle, an injury that has already cost him ten games this season. It will be a similar situation this time around, with Stepneski reporting that the Stars now expect Oduya to miss anywhere from two to four weeks as a result of the injury.

With the trade deadline fast approaching that will leave little time for interested organizations to scout Oduya once he returns from injury, especially if he comes back closer to the later half of the projected recovery time.
