The Chicago Blackhawks are all to familiar with their enemy, and they refuse to take them lightly. The Blackhawks have met the Minnesota Wild three straight times in the post-season, with the Hawks' coming out on top on the previous two occasions. However, head coach Joel Quenneville knows his team is facing one of the most difficult challenges in the Wild. “We’re looking at a team that’s played as well as anyone over the last 50 games,” Blackhawks head coach Joel Quenneville told USA Today. “That’s our challenge. They’re dangerous, they’re fast. They’re quick. They have a lot of weaponry in their attack. They have a mobile defense. We have a dangerous team on the other side and they’re going to get their turns. Every game is going to be on the line.” The Blackhawks held on for the 4-3 victory and a 1-0 series lead in Game 1, but the victory was not decisive by any means. The Wild are a team that has already dug themselves out of a hole this season and they have proven to be a resilient squad. Wild goaltender Devan Dubnyk has been one of the hottest goalies of 2014-2015, and in the playoffs that is always a daunting task. For their part, Minnesota are confident in their abilities. “They won the game, but they’re probably not feeling too well about the pushback we had. We came here to get one and hopefully we get one,” said Chris Stewart, as per The Minneapolis Star Tribune. For Chicago the time to show their own determination has come.
