Amidst injuries on the blue line, the Canucks got a piece of good news today as they will get some help in exactly that department.
Vancouver will welcome defenseman Chris Tanev back to the lineup Monday following a 10-game absence.
Tanev suffered a suspected concussion in mid-February and had initially been described as day-to-day. Unfortunately, he suffered a setback in his recovery and was placed on injured reserve. It appears he has finally recovered and is ready to be inserted back in the lineup.
He has two goals and 15 points, and leads regular Canucks defensemen in possession.
The Canucks will play host to the Western Conference-leading Anaheim Ducks on Monday night.
Welcome back!
