The Vancouver Canucks have got their starting goaltender back, just in time for the playoffs.
Goaltender Ryan Miller is expected to get the starting nod against the Edmonton Oilers on Saturday based on head coach Willie Desjardins' comments after their win on Thursday against the Arizona Coyotes. The veteran netminder returned to the Vancouver lineup as Eddie Lack's back-up on Thursday.
Miller to get some work in before the Canucks move into the postseason against the Calgary Flames. The game could also end up being an important one if Calgary earns a win. The Flames play the Winnipeg Jets in the afternoon.
A Calgary win would force the Canucks to require at least one point against the Oilers in order to clinch home-ice advantage. Miller hasn't played in a game since Feb. 22 as he's been sidelined with a knee injury.
Desjardins would not confirm who his starting goaltender would be in the playoffs.
