Both Antoine Vermette and Teuvo Teravainen sat out a Game 3 loss to the Anaheim Ducks as healthy scratches. Well it looks as though they will be needed again as they both took part in Saturday's morning skate, indicating their likely presence in the lineup for a must-win match on home ice. The pair skated together on the third line with Patrick Sharp.
Vermette and Teravainen have appeared in 10 and eight of Chicago's 13 playoff games, chipping in two and three points, respectively. Vermette, of course, was acquired prior to the trade deadline for a prospect and a first-round pick, while Teravainen is viewed as one of the most talented young players in the organization.
The Blackhawks dropped Game 3 by a score of 2-1, and can ill afford to head back to California facing a 3-1 series deficit.
