Report: The Rangers get an encouraging sign from injured player.

Mats Zuccarello is getting better, slowly but surely. The New York Rangers forward, who was ruled out of the second-round series against the Washington Capitals with a suspected concussion, traveled with his teammates to D.C. for Sunday's Game 6. His injury status, however, remains unchanged, according to Katie Strang of ESPN. Zuccarello last played in Game 5 of the Rangers' first-round series with the Pittsburgh Penguins. He has recorded two assists and 13 shots in the postseason.
