The Nashville Predators have announced that forward Filip Forsberg will be out of the team’s lineup for 4-6 weeks with an upper body injury.
Forsberg suffered the injury on the team’s Dec 29th game against the Minnesota Wild. The 23-year-old Forsberg is the team’s leading scorer with 15 goals and 34 points in 37 games. He has missed the team’s last two games, but today’s announcement from the Preds makes his injury official.
In the meantime, the Preds welcomed back defenseman and assistant captain Ryan Ellis last night during a 3-0 loss to the Vegas Golden Knights.
