As TSN insider Bob McKenzie reported on Twitter on Sunday, we can expect to see top prospect Shea Theodore being called up by the Vegas Golden Knights!

Theodore, 22, was drafted 26th overall by the Anaheim Ducks in 2013. The Golden Knights claimed him in the Expansion Draft, and many believed he would be the centerpiece of their defense to start the season. However, because of all the defensemen on one-way contract general manager George McPhee claimed, he had no choice but to send Theodore to the Chicago Wolves (AHL). Finally, the team placed veteran defenseman Jason Garrison on waivers Sunday, and Bob McKenzie believed that the next move to come is the call up of Shea Theodore.

In 53 games played in the NHL, the 22-year old defenseman registered 17 points. So far this season, he had 11 points in eight games played in the AHL.
