The season has yet started and National Hockey League teams are already looking at which players could be traded and provide a good return.

The date for the Trade Deadline was announced yesterday, and since it is a bit earlier than previous campaigns, clubs might have to pinpoint players who could be shipped out this season.

The Dallas Stars are exploring the options, and according to Mike Heika of the Dallas Morning News, the trade value of blueliners Jamie Oleksiak or Patrik Nemeth could be one to keep an eye on. Both players could benefit from a fresh start and could clinch a top six spot on several clubs' rosters.

However, Oleksiak and Nemeth could also become good assets for the Stars and fit well under new coach Ken Hitchcock's system.

Both players could be used more this upcoming season to determine if they will be part of the team's long-time plans.

If they continue to struggle to crack the lineup, one or even both defenders could land on the trade block later, closer to the Trade Deadline.
