Most pundits believed that former Anaheim Ducks head coach Bruce Boudreau would not be out of a job very long after being fired, and it sounds like they were correct.

According to a report from Eric Stephans of the Orange Country Register, at least two National Hockey League teams have already reached out to the Ducks and have been granted permission to speak to Boudreau.

The Minnesota Wild, who fired their head coach Mike Yeo, during the regular season were believed to be leaning towards their interim head coach John Torechetti, but with a quality coach like Boudreau on the market general manager Chuck Fletcher appears ot be doing his due diligence.

The other team reported by Stephens are the Ottawa Senators, who parted ways with their head coach Dave Cameron at the end of the season. Ironically the Wild's former coach Mike Yeo has been rumored as the favorite for the Ottawa job, but the firing of Boudreau may have altered those plans.

There's also some speculation that the firing of head coach Bob Haartley in Calgary may have been a result of the Flames belief that Boudreau will be their next head coach, although this is purely speculation at this time.
