Richard Panik of the Chicago Blackhawks has come blasting through the gate as he puts up a stellar performance thus far into the 2016-2017 NHL regular season.

He has come a long way since last season in which he was only able to put up six goals and two assists for a total eight points in 30 games played.

This season he has already matched those stats with six goals and two assists once again but this time with only seven games under his belt.

Panik's total shot percentage from last season was 15.4% and so far this season hes up there with a 54.5 shot percentage.

Give it up for Richard Panik and the Chicago Blackhawks as they face off against the New Jersey Devils this Friday at the Prudential Center at 7:30 p.m. (ET).
