Tampa Bay Lightning head coach John Cooper confirmed this morning that superstar goaltender Andrei Vasilevsky will make his return to the lineup tonight when the Bolts take on the Toronto Maple Leafs.
The 24 year old Russian netminder has been out of his team’s lineup for four weeks after suffering a broken foot in practice. A nominee for the Vezina Trophy as the NHL’s top goaltender last season, Vasilevsky has picked up this season where he left off last season, posting an impressive 2.29 goals against average and .927 save percentage in 13 games with the Bolts.
