Report: Veteran David Booth has signed a PTO.

Former National Hockey League forward David Booth is hoping for another crack at the National Hockey League.

According to several reports Booth has made the decision to leave the Kontinental Hockey League and has signed a professional tryout offer with the Anaheim Ducks in the hopes of earning himself a spot on their roster.

The Ducks did have a difficult time finding the back of the net at several points during the regular season in their 2015-2016 campaign and it's likely the Ducks are more than willing to bring in veterans like Booth to bolster their depth at forward.

 While Booth is not guaranteed an NHL deal off this tryout, we would be surprised if he didn't end up signing with the Ducks.
