Report: Veteran Forward Returns
Keystone Press

With the Detroit Red Wings' relatively hot streak of eight points out of a possible 10 in their last five games despite all of the countless injuries, head coach Jeff Blashill has his hands full in trying to figure out the absolute best lineup to ice ahead of the team's matchup against the Boston Bruins tomorrow night.

While forwards Steve Ott (shoulder and on injured reserve), Thomas Vanek (lower-body injury), Dylan Larkin (upper-body injury) and Drew Miller (cleared waivers- assigned to AHL's Grand Rapids Griffins) are set to miss at least the next game, one forward will have a shot at maintaining his place within the lineup.

Tomas Jurco will feature in tomorrow's matchup against the team's Atlantic Division rivals, according to Blashill:

Through 11 games played thus far, Jurco has been held pointless and has a minus-3 rating. The belief is that he will be on one of the bottom-six forward groups.

More updates to follow soon.
