Reporter propose an earth shattering deal between two Canadian teams!

According to reporter Jack Todd from the Montreal Gazette, this 2017-18 season is over and done for the Montreal Canadiens and nothing can be done to save this team in time for the Stanley Cup playoffs.

What he would do instead, is start from scratch and do a real rebuild by sending away crucial parts of the present core.

And that rebuild would start with trading away superstar goaltender Carey Price to the Edmonton Oilers in exchange for big center Leon Draisaitl along with a draft pick.

Following that, he would also trade away team captain Max Pacioretty for picks and prospects like the Avs did with forward Matt Duchene.
